we finally know when vance joy is releasing his new album

February 2018.

That’s when we can expect the long-awaited new album from Vance Joy, the follow-up to his chart-topping debut Dream Your Life Away.

Entitled Nation of Two, the album will include the ARIA-nominated track ’Lay It On Me’ and according to Vance, "describes a perfectly self-contained couple."

"Their world beginning and ending at the bed they share, the car they ride in, or any other place where they’re together...The idea that their love for each other gives them their bearings; a point of reference that makes sense of life,” he explained.

But in the meantime, the Australian Singles Report cover boy has dropped a new single for us to enjoy - the charming, hook-filled ‘Like Gold’.

“I wrote ‘Like Gold’ after coming off the road at the start of 2016," he said.

"It started with a simple melody I was humming and the idea of looking back at a relationship.”
