Melbourne label Wild Thing Records has announced it is rebranding to Wild Thing Music Group to capture everything the brand does under one umbrella.

The restructure will encompass the brand's four pillars – the label, touring under Wild Thing Presents, merchandise under Wild Thing Store and management. Wild Thing's touring pillar also includes a partnership with Destroy All Lines.

The announcement of these changes come as the brand approaches its 10th anniversary, which brand director Eli Chamravi described as "an amazing journey so far".

"With our extensive networks, both in Australia and globally, this new company setup will cement Wild Thing as a mainstay of the international music industry, whilst ensuring the development and enrichment of our artists’ careers remains at the heart of the Wild Thing family," Chamravi said.

Wild Thing Music Group has also announced its first management signing since the rebrand – Melbourne alternative heavy outfit Future Static, who have also signed to the label.

Other acts signed to the brand's management pillar prior to the restructure include Caligula's Horse, The Omnific and Exploring Birdsong.

The brand's merchandise pillar will also rebrand from Wild Thing Records webstore to Wild Thing Music Store, and is set to expand into American and European markets "in the near future", in a partnership with AISA / AISAmusic.
