PRESS RELEASE:

Ministry of Sound Australia has announced the winner of the inaugural World Electronic Music Competition in Australia, with young Brisbane DJ/producer AJC landing top honours with his club melting track Voices. AJC will now get to see his first official release through Ministry of Sound Australia, a studio session with industry experts at Studios 301, as well as getting to show off his DJing skills live at Australia’s #1 club night, Pacha Sydney, as well as a set at Sky Garden Bali. AJC also walks away with a five thousand dollar prize pack courtesy of Native Instruments to continue to work on his productions.

AJC’s track Voices was a standout amongst the WEMC judging panel, which included SCNDL, Kilter and the MoS A&R team, and powered into the #1 spot thanks to a huge fan vote. This young producer already has an audience hungry for more, and will now walk away with invaluable studio experience as well as getting to play live in front of thousands of people.

Check out AJC’s winning track Voices on the FAME website, and stay tuned for official release dates.

WEMC Australia follows a hugely successful European launch in 2014, which saw the prize winner embark on a world DJ tour through Las Vegas, Dubai and Ibiza, and release their debut single international release on Sister Bliss’ label Junkdog.
