MNRK Music Group has promoted Zac Abroms to Australian label manager.

He joined the company four years ago as a project manager when it was eOne Music.

Abroms will continue to report to Ted May, MNRK managing director, U.K. & international.

Abroms is now responsible for marketing and strategy of MNRK artists in both Australia and New Zealand, as well as expanding the company's presence in the region and identifying opportunities to activate label catalogue and IP in the market.

He is also tasked with simplifying the label's physical and D2C relationships.

Abroms said he's proud of what he has achieved with the company thus far, and he's excited to continue building the company's presence in Australia.

"Four years ago, I joined the eOne Music family as the inaugural project manager in Australia and I'm incredibly proud of our achievements in this market with a range of artists including Riton & Kah-Lo, Blueface, MEYY, Alice Ivy and many others during that time," Abroms said.

"The global company has always been closely connected with world-class Australian talent in one form or another and I'm excited by the prospect of continuing to honour and expand that legacy."

May also shared Abroms' excitement, saying that he's been crucial in helping the company cement their position in the Australian market.

“Zac has been a valuable member of our team and has helped us secure a strong toehold in the Australian market," May said.

Abroms, who is based in Melbourne, takes on the new role effective immediately.
